Chaos Mode & The Stars Of The Show
What fun would it be to take all of this time working our hinies off if I can't show you all what we have in store for you?
Just look at that beautiful wall of Romaine just patiently waiting to be eaten!
We have roughly 450 Romaine plants in our towers in various stages of growth with another 200 seeds planted AND Romaine is only 1 of 26 varieties of lettuce that we are currently growing along with 15 herb varieties with a definite possibility that I snuck in a veggie or 2.
The Romain we are using is organic as well as an heirloom. This is actually the same Romaine we grew in our little office garden! We loved it!! It had never been so easy to get Nick to eat a salad! We ate every last leaf off of those plants and we both thought it was the best Romaine we had ever had the pleasure of eating, plus we grew it ourselves!! It was delicious.. but this Romaine, along with everything else we have harvested thus far, has been truely spectacular! Having all the nutrients locked into every plant and consistent watering and light allows our plants to also lock in all those delicious flavors! We really are just so excited to share our produce with you!
I mean.. just look at all that beautiful lettuce! 🥬
As I said, Romaine is only the beginning! We have lettuces, mustards, chards, Bok Choys, herbs, greens that don't grow in the U.S due to needing very specific growth conditions so we're (surprisingly successfully) experimenting with several of those too, some of the most aerotmatic herbs to tickle your senses and an all around fun selection! There have been a few varieties we have already started to phase out and there are unexpected favorites that we've started doubling, or tripling up on the planting! If you haven't reached out for samples yet.. you are seriously missing out!! With how quickly our second and third rounds of harvest are coming in strong our time line is constantly changing! The hope is that we will have our online ordering and price list listed within the next week to 10 days depending on packaging. It's amazing how many things you realize you may, or may not, have overlooked or maybe placed on the back burner for a little too long that sneak back up on you EXACTLY when you need them.
But hey, we live and we learn, we try until we succeed, we grow, and we keep making our dream into our reality!

What can I say, we're big fans of "eating your colors" over here! When we were deciding on what seeds we wanted to start there were only a few things we knew for sure, we wanted our produce packed with nutrients rather than chemicals and pesticides, we wanted as much flavor and aroma as we could get out of everything we grow, and we wanted color! Ok, yes, the color part was primarily me wanting to have the ability to create salad mixes that were as beautiful as they were delicious! I think now that he's had his first tastes, Nick agrees with my choices!
We really are just so excited to share the "fruits" of our labors with all of you! We have loved every second of sharing our little leafy dream with you and we are beyond excited to share every moment yet to come!
Thank you so much for following along on our journey, and for those new to our little ramblings, thank you for joining in on the fun!
We are so excited to grow with you!
Until next time friends,
