When Life is Busy, Messy, and Beautifully Chaotic
Even in the busiest, most stressful times, we wouldn't have it any other way!
December came and went with the blink of an eye. Christmas in Colorado with Nicks family, knocking on doors, and dropping off produce to restaurants, making new friends and new connections, and our hard work actually paid off! Stay Tuned.. Leafy Dreams will be available for purchase somewhere that we are SO excited to share with all of you, just as soon as it goes live early next week!!
It has been a wild winter here in Iowa, the abnormally warm temps turning into very negative temps with a ton of snow followed by, more snow followed up by heavy fog, rain, and temps just warm enough to stay above freezing with a week of possible 50s coming in to round out January and welcome in February.... but hey, it's another month closer to spring!
We were lucky enough to spend the holidays in Colorado with Nick's family, and celebrate Nick's 40th birthday a couple of times, with people in both of our families. To say that we are feeling beyond blessed as we say goodbye to another month of winter would be an understatement to put it mildly. It leaves me in a state of awe looking at what we have accomplished together in the past 6 1/2 months. We have grown so much beautiful, nutrient rich, chemical, and pesticide free produce and found creative ways to share it with our community. We have spent so much time with the people we love the most, and we have, in many ways grown together bother in our relationship and within ourselves. If you ever have the opportunity to bring your wildest dream to life with your favorite human, I strongly, persistently, suggestfully, borderline aggressively recommend it. :)
*PSA: working with the person you life with comes with it's unique set of challenges*

I am going to say it one more time, we truly feel so blessed. The support you all have shown us, the chance you've given us to share our story with you, it means the world to us and we cannot even find the right words to express how grateful we are for each and every one of you.
We are so ready to see what's in store for our leafy dream next.
Until then, friends
Stay Leafy
