farm life When Life is Busy, Messy, and Beautifully Chaotic Amy Smith ·January 26, 2024 Even in the busiest, most stressful times, we wouldn't have it any other way! December came and went with the blink of an eye. Christmas in Colorado with Nick's family, knocking on doors, dropping off produce to restaurants, making new friends and new connections — and our hard work actually paid off! Stay tuned for some big news coming soon! It has been a wild winter here in Iowa. The abnormally warm temps turning into very negative temps with a ton of snow — but hey, it's another month closer to spring! We were lucky enough to spend the holidays in Colorado with Nick's family, and celebrate Nick's 40th birthday a couple of times, with people in both of our families. To say that we are feeling beyond blessed as we say goodbye to another month of winter would be an understatement. It leaves me in a state of awe looking at what we have accomplished together in the past 6.5 months. We have grown so much beautiful, nutrient rich, chemical and pesticide free produce and found creative ways to share it with our community. We have spent so much time with the people we love the most, and we have in many ways grown together — both in our relationship and within ourselves. If you ever have the opportunity to bring your wildest dream to life with your favorite human, I strongly, persistently, suggestfully, borderline aggressively recommend it. :) We are so ready to see what's in store for our leafy dream next.
