When you feel the change coming, its best to sit back and enjoy the ride!

Hi! I just wanted to take a quick minute to say hello on a more personal level. My name is Amy, co-owner of Leafy Dreams LLC. Myself along with my partner (in life as well as business) decided several months ago that we needed a change of pace from the hustle and bustle of the life that comes with running restaurants. I have been on a medical related leave of absence since February while Nick has been kicking butt and taking names running one the hottest new restaurants in town.

Every evening when Nick comes home we spend time taking care of our, much smaller, little hydroponic tower that we have in our spare bedroom and dreaming about bringing that passion to life on a much larger scale. That time we spent together only became more important the longer we carried on the routine. It became time we not only got to spend chatting about our plants, learning as much as we could about how they grow and the conditions they liked the most, it also become a little bit of time that we got to spend together, tending to something we were both passionate about. Our little garden, in many ways, helped us learn to grow together right along with our plants. We disagree A LOT when it comes to almost everything with our little garden but I truly believe that's what makes us better. We have to reach a common ground to keep our plants growing and to make sure we keep growing.

So, with the support from our families and friends, along with a huge belief in one another we decided last month to take the leap.

In the next week or 2 we will have our storage container farm delivered and that's when the real work will begin. I will be commuting to Lacona to tend to the farm to get it ready for our first round of produce while Nick will be working full time and helping me out on weekends and likely every other free minute we have, We have learned so much with our little 27 plant tower and we are over the moon with excitement to turn it into the 2500 plant vertical hydroponic farm of our dreams! Stay tuned while we prepare our site for delivery next week! (and check out our little spare room tower below!)
